Every Move a DJ Makes, In One Insert
- True isolator EQ. Three Linkwitz Riley bands split at 180 Hz and 3 kHz, each down to -26 dB, so a band drops out cleanly instead of smearing.
- One filter knob, both sides. Left is low pass, right is high pass, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with resonance up to Q 12 and a 12 or 24 dB per octave slope.
- FX Cut. Keeps the kick out of your delay.
- Breath Of God reverb throw, built in. The throw from the CWL Breath Of God plugin, the same engine, sitting in Beat FX. Throw runs 0 to 127 and decay goes from 0.2 to 60 seconds.
- The fader sits ahead of the FX. Pull it down mid throw and you stop feeding the effect while the delay repeats and the reverb tail keep ringing out, the same as cutting the channel on a hardware mixer.
- Serial or parallel. Sets how the Color FX and Beat FX stack against the dry signal.
- Collapses down. Fold it to one page at a time, EQ and filter, FX, or jog and level, and page through with the arrows. Expand it for the full strip.

FAQ
Is there a demo?
Yes, at the top of this page. It is the plugin's own code running in your browser, the same DSP as the paid version, so nothing to download or install. Press play and turn the knobs.
What operating system do I need?
Mac or Windows. On Mac, macOS 10.15 or later on Intel, 11.0 or later on Apple silicon, as a universal binary that installs as both VST3 and Audio Units. On Windows it installs as VST3, since Audio Units is a Mac only format. Tested in Ableton Live 12.
Do the effects stay in time with my project?
Yes. The Beat FX and Dub Echo follow your host tempo and transport, and every instance in the session shares the same clock. There's a manual BPM mode if you want to sit off the grid.
Can I run it on more than one track?
That's how it's built. Each instance processes one channel, so put one on every track, group or bus you want to work. There's no crossfader.
Does it add latency?
None. The plugin reports zero samples and uses no lookahead anywhere, including the limiter.
How many computers can I install it on?
Three. Your licence covers up to three computers you own, desktop or laptop, Mac or Windows, in any mix. Same download on each.
How do I install it?
On Mac, run the installer and it places the plugin in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. On Windows, the VST3 goes to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Restart your DAW, or rescan your plugins, and it appears as CWL DJ Mixer.
