Color With Live sells digital music production tools. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Contact us at team@colorwithlive.com with any question about it.
What we collect
When you buy something we collect your name, email address, billing address and order details. We do not see or store your card number. Payment details go directly to our payment processor.
When you sign up for emails or download a free stencil we collect your email address and, if you tell us, the genres you produce.
When you use the site we collect the usual technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived. This is used to keep the store working, spot fraud, and understand what people find useful.
Why we collect it
To take payment and deliver your files. To send your order confirmation and download links. To answer your emails and provide support. To send marketing emails if you asked for them. To improve the products and the site. To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we never have.
We share what is necessary with the companies that run parts of our business for us. Shopify hosts our store and processes orders and payments. Our digital delivery app sends your files. Omnisend sends our email. Analytics providers help us understand site traffic. Each of these only receives what they need and is not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing to people who asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. Order confirmations and download links are not marketing and are sent regardless.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, to remember your preferences, and to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the store will stop working if you block the essential ones.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Email subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept while they are useful and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email team@colorwithlive.com and we will action it. We do not charge for this and we will not make it difficult.
If you are in the UK, the EU, or a US state with its own privacy law, you have these rights by statute and we honour them wherever you live.
Children
Our products are not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Payments and the whole store run over encrypted connections. Card data is handled by our payment processor and never stored on our systems.
Third party links
The site links out to other sites, including social platforms and download hosts. Their privacy practices are their own, not ours.
Changes
We update this policy when the way we work changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
