ALEXYS, Strn. - Wasting My Time (Ableton Stencil – Speed Garage)

$9.99

Ableton Live Stencil: “Wasting My Time” by ALEXYS, Strn.

(No audio included — this is a structural outline)

Think of this like a blueprint for modern Speed Garage — a producer’s coloring book page and a detailed checklist rolled into one. It shows you exactly what sounds you need, where to put them, what automations are happening in the original, and even when to time your delay throws and filter transitions for maximum impact.

This stencil maps out the full structure of “Wasting My Time” by ALEXYS and Strn., a clean, minimal heater that sits right in the Notion/Instinct lane. It’s built at 144 BPM but easy to adapt to your needs, with open space to craft your own intro or outro — perfect if you’re looking to drop a DJ-ready mix version.

The original track features one of those gritty, buzzy garage basslines that punches straight through the mix — especially in the breakdowns and drops. But don’t get it twisted: this one’s all about restraint. Every section is minimal but intentional, making it one of the most beginner-friendly stencils in our library. If you're just getting started or trying to scale your output without overthinking structure, this one hits the sweet spot.

Also — mark our words — ALEXYS and Strn. are going to be serious players in the Speed Garage game, just like Riordan was when we dropped our first stencil on him. This is your chance to build with the sound before it fully blows up.
