Ableton Live Stencil: “I Run (Extended)” by Haven
(Structural arrangement only, no audio included)

This Ableton Live stencil is a fully mapped arrangement guide based on I Run (Extended) by Haven, a viral speed garage track that sounds simple on the surface but is actually packed with detailed, high-level arrangement decisions.

At speed garage tempo, I Run uses tight drum programming, layered bass movement, and constant micro-changes in timing, filtering, and energy to keep the groove evolving. Nothing overstays its welcome. Elements are continuously rotated, muted, reintroduced, and reshaped to maintain momentum without obvious section changes.

Think of this stencil like a coloring book page for producers. The structure is already laid out so you can skip the blank session and jump straight into building with your own sounds.

Why This Track Went Viral

Part of I Run’s rise came from controversy around its original vocal, which sparked debate about AI vocals before being re-recorded by a live singer. That moment pulled listeners in, but what kept the track moving was the songwriting underneath it.

This stencil breaks down how the vocal is treated as a dynamic arrangement tool rather than a static hook. You can see how placement, spacing, and processing evolve across the track, revealing just how much work is happening behind something that feels effortless.

What You’ll Learn From This Stencil

  • How complex speed garage arrangements can feel minimal

  • How vocals can drive energy without constant variation

  • How bass movement and drum interplay create momentum

  • How small changes keep a loop-based track engaging
